Day 1: Yangon Arrival
Depend on your arrival time meet with our Yangon guide and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2: Discover the world biggest golden temple in Yangon
Today we start visit to Shwedagon Pagoda, have been built over 2,600 years ago, its golden stupa is the Landmark of Myanmar people. It is always full of local people praying and make offerings, and a fascinating place to spend time watching the world go by.
Next head to Chaukhtetgyi Reclining Buddha image before we proceed to lunch. And then visit to Sule Pagoda, located on downtown of Yangon. Make a short visit to the national monument, High court Building and others colonial buildings on downtown area. After that proceed to Bogyoke Market formerly called Scott Market where you can buy or study all Myanmar products. And then transfer to Hotel and stay overnight at the hotel in Yangon.
Day 3: Mrorning flight to the Kayah city of Loikaw
In morning, arrival in Loikaw by flight meet our local guide in airport. Then we continue our visit to cultural museum of Loikaw . After that we learn how to make Kayah Sausage experience in local Sausage producers.
Visit to Loikaw weaving centre where most Kayah tradition costume are produced and organic garden to discover the process of dyeing trail. Visit the Kayhtoebo site and Hunting Shrine, to learn about local beliefs and spiritual life. In addition, enjoy an Ox Cart ride, via the Lotus Pond to the scenic 7 Lakes.
Next to Haw Nan Monastery which is one of the ancient buildings in Kayah, built during the first of World War (1912-1916). Visit to Taung Kwal Zay Ti, Shwe Latt war Taung and Mya Ka Latt Taung where we can see a beautiful view of the city and surrounding villages from hilltops. Visitors also enjoy watching sunset from hilltop.
Day 4: Panpet Trekking full day trip to Kayah Villages
Guests arrive at Pemsong village. On arrival, guests are welcomed in a local home where you will enjoy a hot drink and a simple, local snack. Next, you will set off on a moderately challenging trek, through lush, shady, forest. After a short climb (30-40 minutes), guests enjoy over 3 hours of continual, great views. En route, local guides will show guests various edible plants and herbal medicines, used by community members in their ‘jungle larder.’
A highlight of the trip is arriving at the original settlement of Pan Pet, perched on a mountain top, where evidence of past habitation is visible. This is considered one of the first Kayan settlements of Kayah state. Guests also enjoy a pack lunch or jungle picnic.The trek ends in Rang Ku hamlet, where guests can meet the famous Kayan people (also known as Long Neck Karen), who are a symbol of Kayah state. Enjoy learning a few words of Kayan language and interacting with these fun-loving and artistic people.
Day 5: Loikaw-Inle Lake by Overland drive
This morning check out from your hotel and drive to Kalaw which will take around 4-5 hour beautiful trip. On the way pass through Moebyal Dam which is connect to the part of the Inle lake and many scenery of green and golden field which describe the daily life of between Kayah and Southern Shan State.
After lunch at local restaurant, transfer to red mountain winery and vineyard for tasting wine. boat trip to Inle Lake and stay overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Inle Lake full day sightseeing
Breakfast at hotel and take a tour of Inle Lake by private boat with chances to see villages, the unique leg-rowers fishermen and the floating gardens, built up from the strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored with bamboo poles. The tour also includes visits to the silver smith factory, the silk weaving village, the Cheroot making factory, the boat making workshop, the jumping cat monastery and the most famous Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda where the Buddha images have been covered in so much gold that they look like balls of solid gold. And then head to Indein Village ancient Ruins pagoda of Nyaung Oaks. And then transfer to Inle Lake and stay overnight at hotel.
Day 7 Heho-Bagan
Transfer to Heho airport after breakfast, after landed at Bagan airport. Visit to Nyaung U local Market and Shwezigon Pagoda, Wetkyi-in Gubyaukkyi (a cave temple with exquisite Jataka mural paintings), the elegant Htilominlo Temple (noted for its plaster carvings) and the Tharaba Gate by horse cart. After hotel check in and refreshment, explorations of Bagan continue in the afternoon including visits to lacquer ware workshop, Thatbyinnyu Temple (the highest in Bagan, rising to 61 m).
Enjoy sunset cruising along Ayeyarwaddy River.
Day 8: Bagan
This morning, we head to Mount Popa 1518 meters high and extinct volcano from Popa Mountain. On the way you can visit to Toddy plam (Myanmar sky beer), jaggery making The Popa Taungkalat shrine is the home of 37 Mahagiri Nats or animist spirit entities, statues of which can be found at its base. To reach the top, you need to remove shoes and socks and climb the 777 steps to the summit. Along the way are a multitude of monkeys expecting treats.
Afternoon visit to Ananda Temple, an architectural master piece resembling a Greek cross: Ananda Okkaung a brick Monastery with 18th century mural Painting: Dhamayangyi a massive temple which will show the finest brick work on the plain of Bagan. Stay overnight Hotel in Bagan.
Day 9: Bagan – Pakokku -Monywa
Pick up from your Bagan Hotel and start drive Pakokku by car around 2 hour. We start visit to local colorful market, Thanakha market, cottage industry of slippers, cheroot, textile (weaving), the best intricate wood carving of Shweku pagoda. We will have lunch at river side restaurant.
Continue to Monywa visit Po Win Daung Caves, a complex caves and buildings carved into the living rocks filled with archaeological treasures tracing back a thousand years.
Overnight in Monywa.
Day 10: Monywa – Mandalay
Today morning excursion to Mohnyin Thanbuddhay to see thousands of small Buddha images inside the temple and followed by Boddhitataung Pagoda. The breathtaking thousand seated Buddha statues under own Boddhi Tree. Proceed to Mandalay, Hotel check in, Your guide who will be available for the rest of the day in Mandalay.
Day 11: Amarapura – Sagaing – Ava
After breakfast at hotel, starts visit the Maha Gandayone monastery (home to more than 1000 monks) in Amarapura and U Bein teak bridge. Then proceed to drive to Sagaing hill across the Ayeyarwaddy River and will see the rural life of Myanmar People. On the top of Sagaing hill,, a retreat for some monks and nuns and there are over 500 Monasteries. visit a Soon U Pon Nya Shin, U Min Thonesal Pagoda.
Inwa (also known as Ava), a former royal capital of Myanmar Kingdom located on the confluence of the Ayeyarwaddy River and Myitnge River. After a 3 minute boat ride by crossing a small river you will ride a horse cart for the visit. You will be led to the Maha Aungmyabonsan Monastery, and the Nanmyint Tower before heading to Bargayar monastery.
Day 12: Mandalay – Mingun
Today transfer to jetty and visit Mingun by boat exploring the Ayeyarwaddy river around 1 hour. Then proceed to the Unfinished Pagoda, Mingun Pahtodawgyi was built King Bodaw Paya and Mingun Bell is about 90 tons of the second largest ringing Bell of the world. Near visit the most beautiful Pagoda, Myatheindan was built Queen Shinphyume.
Then proceed to Mahamuni Pagoda (famous for its venerable statue of Buddha covered with gold leaf). Next afternoon sightseeing includes the Shwenandaw Monastery (noted for its exquisite woodcarving), Atumashi Monastery and the Kuthodaw Pagoda with its 729 marble stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures (known as the world’s biggest book). Enjoy a panoramic view of Mandalay City from the Mandalay Hill.
Day 13: Mandalay-Yangon-Golden rock
Transfer to Mandalay international airport and flight to Yangon. Upon arrival transfer to Golden rock around 3 hour drive. Take 45 minutes open air truck with locals to the Golden rock, hotel check in and watch sunset of Magnificent Golden rock.
Day 14: Golden rock-Bago-Yangon
This morning back to the Kimpun Base Camp and visit to the Highlights of Bago includes such as the four Giant Buddha images of Kyaik pun Pagoda. Enjoy Myanmar cuisine lunch at local restaurant. Continue to the Shwemawdaw Pagoda, one of the most venerated pagodas in Myanmar with 375 feet height and the excavation site Kanbawzathadi, the palace of famous King Bayint Naung. Next to the largest reclining Buddha of Shwe Tha Lyaung located in the west of Bago. Transfer back to Yangon and drop off at your hotel.
Day 15: Yangon Departure
