There are two types of e Visa in Myanmar, Tourist Visa and Business Visa at Myanmar official EVisa Website.
Myanmar Tourist Evisa
– 14 Day Visa Free for ordinary passport holders of Brunei, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.
-The Validity of the EVisa approval letter is 90 days from the issued date. If it is expired, the entry will be denied.
-The length of stay is 28 days from the date of arrival in Myanmar and visa fees are 50.00 USD and nonrefundable.
-You will receive an email acknowledgment within 1 hour after a successful payment. The processing time is up to 3 working days. If the applicant has a child under 7 years old on the same passport, you have to put the name of that child, date of birth in the minor section of the application form.
-The applicant should complete individual personal data whether the passenger is FIT or package tour. EVisa is only valid for a single entry. Re-entry will require a new visa.
-Currently, passengers with EVisa are only permitted to enter via following airport and border entry:
1. Yangon International Airport
2. Mandalay International Airport
3. Naypyitaw International Airport
4. Tachilek – Maesai
5. Myawaddy – Mesok
6. Htee Kee – Phunaron
7. Kawthaung – Ranong
-If you are visiting Myanmar via cruise, please contact your tour agent for Pre-arrangement Visa on Arrival. You will not be able to use e Visa to enter Myanmar via seaport. Citizens of 100 countries can apply the Myanmar Tourist eVisa.
Myanmar Business Evisa
A business visa is available to apply online starting from 1st July 2015. You are required to submit “Color Passport Size Photo”, “Letter of Invitation” and “Company Registration (Certificate of Incorporation)” during your application. The Online Business EVisa transaction fee is USD 70.00 and it is non-refundable. Please make sure to submit the supporting documentation as they will be checked against the invited companies in Myanmar.
Business EVisa is only valid for a single entry. Re-entry will require a new visa. The validity of the EVisa approval letter is 90 days from the issued date. If it is expired, the entry will be denied.
Length of stay is (70) days from the date of arrival in Myanmar. A citizen of 50 countries can apply for the Myanmar Business e Visa.
Please note:
-The EVisa approval letter is only valid for 90 days. Please enter Myanmar during valid dates.
-Application particulars need to be submitted as in passport. If any incorrect information was entered, your entry will be rejected.
-If the applicant does not receive the acknowledgment email after successful application and payment, the application status can be checked at http://evisa.moip.gov.mm/statusenquiry.aspx
-Evisa processing fee is non-refundable.
-Any Applicants holding multiple passports are to bring the corresponding passport with the approved Evisa letter.
