> Yangon – Bagan – Inle Lake 7 Day tour Overview

You can learn all about Myanmar in a short period, don’t worry we will help you. Our 7-day itinerary makes sure you have engaged in the daily life of local people in Bagan and Inle Lake regions. Our Private Tour will start from the morning of arrival day and you fly back to Yangon on Day 7 and you may connect to departure flight or ask for an extra night at Yangon it’s worth too. For the alternative ideal planning, the arrival and departure port can also arrange from Mandalay.


 

>Itinerary

Day 1: Yangon arrival 

Depend on your flight arrival, meet and greet by our local experienced guide. Our tour guide will introduce and explain about do & don’t and things need to know. Transfer to your hotel and overnight in Yangon.

 

Day 2: Yangon full day sightseeing

Today start drives to Kyeet Myin Dine railway station and takes 15 minutes to ride Myanmar Circular Train. Stops at Yangon railway station and visit Scott Market. Then the walking tour starts from Sule Pagoda. On the way, you can see Yangon City Hall, Independence Monument, Mahabandoola Park, many colonial buildings and ends at the Strand Hotel. Continue to Kandawgyi Park and the next stop is Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda with colossal reclining Buddha. Later afternoon, enjoy the sunset at magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda.

Day 3: Yangon – Bagan (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, pick up from your hotel and transfer for early morning flight around 6:00 am to Bagan, the ancient capital of Myanmar, has many important pagodas and temples to visit. On arrival Bagan, first, visit colorful Nyaung U local market hotel check-in and this morning you have time to explore the Myingaba village area by horse cart.

First, visit Gubyaukgyi Temple admiring the fine stucco work. Continue to Nanpaya temple, built in the Mon style with intricate stone carvings, and said to have once been King Manuha’s residence. See the huge Buddha images in Manuha Pagoda and later, visit 11th-century Pyatsashwegu, showing frescoes with ancient Mon captions on the interior walls. Stop at Myazedi stupa to see Myanmar’s ‘Rosetta Stone’, bearing inscriptions written in four languages. Stay overnight at the hotel in Bagan.

Day 4: Bagan (B)

Enjoy sunrise and Breakfast at hotel, today sightseeing tour starting with visits to a diverse selection of the most important pagodas and temples such as Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century. See 13th Century frescoes adorning the corridors of Kyansittha ‘Cave’ Temple. Continue to Gubyaukgyi (Wetkyi In village), another ‘cave’ temple with fine frescoes of the ‘Jataka Tales’.

The next stop is Htilominlo,  the last Burma style temple built in Bagan,  with old murals and friezes. Visit the Taungphi village to see old monasteries, which have beautiful Khone Baung Dynasty frescoes. Afternoon at Leisure, continue visit to Ananda Temple, a whitewashed masterpiece of  Mon architecture with four standing Buddhas, and the adjacent brick monastery from the early  Bagan era with well-preserved murals. Make a photo stop at the tallest temple measuring 61meters –Thatbyinnyu. Continue to Mingalazedi, the last of the large Pagodas, built in the 13th Century, representing the pinnacle of Burma pagoda architecture.

Enjoy sunset at along cruising at Ayeyarwaddy river and stay overnight at the hotel in Bagan.

Day 5: Bagan – Inle Lake (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, pick up from your hotel and transfer to Nyaung Oo airport for flight to Heho airport. Visit Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery and next to the Red Mountain Estate & Vineyard and Winery, view from the top will see overview to Inle Lake and beautiful mountains. Free and Leisure for the rest of the afternoon and Overnight in Nyaung Shwe Hotel.

Day 6: Inle Lake full-day boat tour (B)

Today take a full-day tour of Inle Lake by private boat with chances to see villages, the unique leg-rowers fishermen and the floating gardens, built up from the strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored with bamboo poles. The tour also includes visits to the silver smith factory, the silk weaving village,  the  Cheroot making a factory,  the boat making workshop, the jumping cat monastery and the most famous Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda where the Buddha images have been covered in so much gold that they look like balls of solid gold. And visit to  Indein  Village ancient Ruins pagoda of  Nyaung  Oaks, Shwe Indein Pagoda. After that transfer back to the hotel and check-in. Stay overnight at Nyaung Shwe.

Day 7: Inle Lake – Yangon (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Heho airport and take the afternoon flight to Yangon. Upon arrival connect your international departure flight.

Or you may spend over one more night at Yangon depend on your flight time.
