Itinerary
The best activity to avoid crowed tourist is Biking around Inle Lake. It will take you 30min from Nyaung Shwe to hot spring. That will give you a great chance to see the local people day-to-day experience. On the way, you can see the sugar cane field and vegetable plantation. After 15min bike you will reach to Khaung Daing village and visit Khaung Daing Natural hot spring. Next to Shwe Inn Dain Pagoda, where can see thousands of ancient ruined stupas built between 14th and 18th century.
In the Afternoon, take the long tail boat across the magic lake (Inle Lake) to Maing Thauk village. You could enjoy the village on the lake and on the shore by doing this activity. You will see Red Mountain Estate after about 1-hour cycling on the tar road with sugar cane field and other plantation. A wine garden with a good view is the best place to relax. About 20min cycling back to Nyaung Shwe. Return to your hotel.
