Yangon Heritage Walking Tour (YHT)
The organization is also going to increase the frequency of its tours compared to last year. The tour offer three days a week on every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Two different routes which will be available in the morning at 9 am and the afternoon from 3 pm and 4 pm in December onward January 2016. Each tour will last approximately 2.5 hrs.
The Price is US$30 per person per tour. Clients or their agents can pay in cash at the YHT office 15 minutes prior to the tour. It will also accept private tours that can be arranged with advance notice for tour agencies with a minimum of five people. All proceeds from the program will go towards YHT’s continued advocacy for the protection of Yangon’s unique urban heritage.
Strand Road to Scott Market Walking Tour
Beginning at YHT’s office on lower Pansodan Road, this tour ends at the Bogyoke Aung San market. Including Sule Pagoda, City Hall, the High Court, and the Former Burma Railways Company.

Strand Road to China Town Walking Tour
Starting at YHT’s office on lower Pansodan Road, this route ends at the bustling night market in Chinatown. It passes through top sites in the central part of the city and Indian quarter, including Sule Pagoda, City Hall, the High Court, and the Jewish Musmeah Yeshua Synagogue, the only synagogue in Myanmar.
East Downtown and the Secretariat Office Tour
This route starts and ends at the YHT office and covers buildings and locations along the historic commercial and administrative center, as well as the most well-preserved residential area in the eastern part of downtown. It includes the former headquarters of the legendary Irrawaddy Flotilla company, the Armenian Church, Gandhi Hall, and the Secretariat—where General Aung San and cabinet ministers were assassinated in 1947.
