Kyaiktiyo Pagoda (Golden Rock) is popular among both local pilgrimage and tourists, it is situated on 3615 ft high top of the Paung-laung Mountain Range. Visitor can visit to Kyaiktiyo in two way, the easiest and fastest way is getting the open air truck from the base camp to the top, it will take 45 minutes to 1 hour + waiting times to fill up passengers on the truck. The second way is 11 kilometers trek to Golden Rock mountain from Kin Pun base camp, 4-6 hours moderate trekking route, few steeps and flat route condition.
