6 Amazing Waterfalls in Pyin Oo Lwin

Pyin Oo Lwin also called Maymyo is a beautiful former british colonial recreation town. It is a city where has lots of magnificent waterfalls, national parks, and flower. It is also a hill city. This is the list of waterfalls that you should visit in Pyin Oo Lwin.

1. Anisakan waterfall (Dat Taw Gyaint water fall)

It is a good place for hiking and trekking inspiration when the Anisakan waterfall is in Jungle. On the way to waterfall is rough and steep. There is a small temple in front of the waterfall. The water is fresh and cold. It also has plenty of space to swim around and relax.

2. Pwe Kauk (Hampshire) waterfall

It is located in the east of Pyin Oo Lwin city. This is not a high waterfall.  You can easily walk and it is more like cascade than waterfall. The place is a little bit dirty and always crowded with the local visitor. But, you can get the cheap traditional wine around the waterfall.



3. Nat Kyone waterfall

The waterfall is located near Tollgate outside of Pyin Oo Lwin. People also called Yangon Kyaung (Yangon school) waterfall. The area is clean and the water is fresh. A nice waterfall who like to be quiet.

 

4. Yay Pyan Taung waterfall

The waterfall is located 5 miles away from the Pyin Oo Lwin National Park, It is a real treasure but not many people visit in that place. The path is rough and difficult to get on the mountain. The waterfall has more than seven layers.

5. Dee Doke waterfall

Amazing waterfall with a blue color. It is located in near Own Chaw village. Now, it is easier to get there. It is more like a blue pool than waterfall. The waterfall has 10 layers and you can swim every single of the pool. And, the perfect place to take a dip.

 

December Waterfall Pyin Oo Lwin

6. December Farm waterfall

This waterfall was discovered recently. It is located on a famous farm named in December. You will walk along the lovely road with Greenland. The water was drizzling like a sprinkler. Favorite place for young people.
