Itinerary
After breakfast at your Bagan hotel, your bicycles will be ready for a tour to Dhamma-ya-za-ka Pagoda and bike cross country through small lanes and walkways to Min Nan Thu village. The village is near the unusual sights of the Tayokepyay Temple, Phaya Thone Zu and Nandamanya Temples noted for their exquisite murals of the 13th century. See the Kyat Kan Cave monastery, a famous meditation retreat in Bagan.
Lunch will be at a restaurant in Old Bagan. Continue visit to Ananda Temple with four magnificent standing Buddha images and That-Byin-Nyu Temple. Learn more about the manufacturing process of Myanmar´s most treasured handicraft and visit a lacquerware craftsman´s workshop in nearby Myinkaba village. (**If time permits**) Later continue to Manuha Temple, built in Mon style in 1059 and explore the Nanbaya Temple, a unique sandstone monument which according to legends used to be the palace site of King Manuha. Complete the day by watching the sunset over the majestic Ayeyarwaddy River from top of a temple.
