Overland Tour Itinerary self drive your own vehicle
Day 1: Tamu- Kale (Driving time 3 hour, 131 km)
Arrival Tamu India-Myanmar border, your group and vehicle (motorbike or SUV) will enter the border gate from India side. We will wait at Tamu border check-point will help you with necessary document as well as represent you the border crossing formalities and procedures at check-point authority’s counters. Then drive to Kale. Overnight at Kale.
Day 2: Kale- Monywa (Driving time 6 hour, 236 km)
After Breakfast , start driving to Monywa. On the way, go a visit to the Phowintaung cave complex across the Chindwin River. visit to Thanboddhay Pagoda.Then , Close by is the Maha Bodhi Tahtaung, Laykyun Setkya Standing Buddha statue, the second-tallest statue in the world.This is the focal point of a sprawling site filled with Buddha statues, bodhi trees, and pagodas. Overnight at Monywa.
Day 3: Monywa-Mandalay (Driving time 3 hour, 139 km)
Drive to Mandalay.Cross over the Sagaing Bridge and see the beauty of nature. Visit to U Bein Teak Bridge ,a crossing that spans the Taungthaman Lake near Amarapura and enjoy sunset there. Overnight at Mandalay.
Day 4: Mandalay Sightseeing
Getting an early rise in the morning and after having your breakfast, ready to view the beauty of Mandalay. Going around the walls of Mandalay Palace, visit to Mandalay Hill, the landmark of Mandalay, where you can overlook the city.Then,look around Kuthodaw Pagoda which is located at the base of the southeast stairways to Mandalay Hill. Next,proceed to Golden Palace of Shwe Nan Daw Monastery which is famous for its beautiful wood-carvings. Then, continue to gold-leaf workshop. It is one thing to see temples covered in gold, and another to see the hard labor behind this art and appreciate it after visiting gold-leaf workshop. Finally, before returning to your hotel,visit to Maha Myat Muni Pagoda which is the most revered Buddha image in Mandalay.Overnight at Mandalay.
Day 5: Mandalay -Mt. Popa-Old Bagan (Driving time 4 hour, 132 km)
After having your breakfast, drive to Bagan. You can enjoy the sense of countryside and see a thousand of pagodas in Bagan. Enjoy sunset at Shwesandaw Pagoda. Overnight at Bagan.
Day 6: Bagan
Today start visit to Nyaung U Local Market,the economic center of Bagan. Local people gather at this bustling market daily, to buy and sell a variety of goods.Continue to the gold-plated Shwezigon Pagoda It is a prototype of Burmese stupas, and consists of a circular gold leaf-gilded stupa surrounded by smaller temples and shrines. From here, drive to the small village of Wetkyi-in to see the wonderful Kubyaukgyi Temple renowned for is ancient murals. Then, Ananda Temple , is one of four surviving temples in Bagan.Your excursion also includes the Htilominlo Temple. You can see the sun set in the boat on the Ayeyarwaddy River or Bagan Viewing Tower. Overnight at Bagan.
Day 7: Bagan – Inle lake (Driving time 8 hour, 338 km)
After breakfast, drive to Kalaw –Inle lake. Shan Plateau is full of fresh and green mountainous scenes. Overnight at Inle Lake.
Day 8: Inle Lake Sightseeing
After breakfast, start a visit and exploration on Inle Lake (25 km) famous for its unique one-leg rowers, typical floating gardens, local methods of fishing and village life and the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda housing five sacred and almost shapeless Buddha images, contorted because of the quantity of applied gold leaf, gifts from the believers. Explore the Local Five- Day Market. In the afternoon, proceed to the silk weaving village of In Phaw Khon and visit Nga Phe Chaung (the biggest and oldest monastery around Inle Lake). Here we get and ideal chance to see some traditional cigar making and silk weaving, and hopefully sun local fishermen practicing their uniquely distinctive rowing technique. You can see sun set on the boat at the Inle Lake. Overnight at Inle lake.
Day 9: Inle – Taungoo (Driving time 7-8 hour, 318 km)
Drive to Naypyidaw the capital city of Myanmar. Explore the beautiful landscape down hill from Shan Mountains on the way. Overnight at Nay Pyi Taw.
Day 10: Taungoo -Yangon (Driving time 3 hour, 277 km)
Continue your trip to Yangon. Discover the Yangon-Naypyidaw high way road. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 11: Yangon Sightseeing
After enjoying your meal, look around the Yangon city. Variety of colonial buildings, bustling life of local people will be attractive views to you.Visit to Sule Pagoda, Chaukhtetgyi Pagoda and Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market. Then, Shwedagon Pagoda with its glterring gold is one the most worthwhile place to visit in Myanmar. Overnight at Yangon.
Day 12: Yangon-Golden Rock (Driving time 3 and half hour ,188 km)
Have your breakfast at hotel.Then drive to Kyeikhtiyoe ( Golden Rock) and sightseeing at Kyaithtiyoe. From the base camp near Kyaikto, you will have to take a truck with wooden benches on the loading area up the steep and beautiful mountains. From the upper camp, it is still a 1-hour walk to the Golden Rock at around 1100 meters above sea level. Overnight at base camp of Golden rock pagoda.
Day 13 Hpa an-Myawaddy Departure (Driving time 7 hour, 291 km)
After enjoying your breakfast, drive to Hpa an, which is the capital of Kayin state. Take a photo stop at Kyauk katt pagoda, Zwekabin Mountain, Lumbini garden and continue to Myawaddy. Our guide will assist you for border pass services.

Border – Crossing without Vehicle
For those travelers, who wish to enter to Myanmar country from border without their own vehicle. They will not permitted to exit from different border check point. Entrance and Exit check point must be the same according to Authority of Myanmar Government.
